Dane Platt

Dane Platt is currently the President of Dixon Golf, makers of the world's first high-performance, eco-friendly golf balls. As President, Dane's main focus is on operations. He has implemented technology that has improved efficiency in nearly every aspect of the business from sales and marketing systems to inventory management systems.

Dane Platt founded Dixon Golf with his long-time business partner William Carey. He and William first started working together at a golf ball manufacturing facility. This facility acted as a contract manufacturer for many of the industry leaders in the golf ball industry. William and Dane eventually bought the business to form DW Sports Group. While William and Dane have left the day to day operations of DW Sports Group to focus on Dixon Golf, they still maintain an interest in the company.

Prior to his move into the golf industry, Dane was the Plant Manager at a truss manufacturing facility where he led a manufacturing organization of 200 people and manufactured over $40 million worth of trusses each year.

Dane Platt attended the United States Air Force Academy and holds a B.S. in industrial engineering from Arizona State University.

In addition to his professional life, Dane is also active in religious and community service organizations. He served a two year mission for his church in Santa Rosa, CA where he taught English, taught religious classes, served underprivileged communities and also served in various leadership capacities.

He has sat on the board of directors for two home owner associations including his current term in Ryan Estates where he has been able to use his financial acumen and his thoughtful demeanor to help the community resolve problems, save money, and make the community a wonderful place to live.

He is currently a precinct committeeman in Legislative District 17 and has been active in supporting measures that protect the family and build the community.
